Coleus are vividly coloured plants, with their foliage growing in a range of shapes and colours. With these plants, it is all about the leaves, they are great at adding colour and texture to beds, borders, container and hanging baskets in among other plants. They grow vigorously, ideal for filling in gaps anywhere in the garden. These plants are tender perennials which originate from Indonesia, they do not survive the colder weather. To keep plants to enjoy each year, bring them indoors or take cuttings in summer to plant outside again the next spring.

• Survives until first frost.

• Cut leggy growths in half to promote new growth.
