Chempak Ericaceous Feed is a multifunctional product providing essential trace elements unavailable in high pH soils and an acidifier to lower soil pH, thereby releasing further natural trace elements. The unique lime-neutralising formula combats limey watereliminating the need to use soluble water. Plants show strong growth and good foliage. Use anywhere; outdoors, greenhouse or patio containers.

Normal strength use:
Dissolve 2 level measures of crystals in 5 litres (approx 1 gallon) of water. Apply to the root area thoroughly moistening the soil. Repeat every 10-14 days during the growing season.

Double strength: For plants showing extreme signs of chlorosis (yellowing), use 4 level measures of crystals to 5 litres (1 gallon) of water, repeating every 2 weeks until the signs of chlorosis are cleared.

Hard water areas:
Use of hard water continues to add lime to the soil, eventually preventing the growth of ericaceous plants. Use Chempak Ericaceous Feed regularly and the acidifying characteristics will neutralise lime, improving their growth and flowering performance. Chempak Soluble Plant Foods are formulated to meet those exacting standards of the professional grower and top horticultural exhibitor. They are fully soluble which means they start to work immediately. All Chempak Soluble Plant Foods contain seven essential trace elements, far more than ordinary soluble fertiliser. These trace elements are all absolutely necessary for healthy plant growth.

Directions for use:
Tomato plants are greedy feeders, requiring a continuous supply of nourishment. Chempak Tomato Feed is specifically formulated with essential nutrients, in the correct balance, for heavier cropping of top quality fruit. Added trace elements play a vital role. Magnesium aids fruit setting and keeps foliage healthy; iron and manganese give colour, flavour and finish; calcium helps prevent Blossom End Rot.

Where to use:
For tomatoes in the greenhouse or outdoors in pots, grow bags or soil grown.

How to use:
Use as a liquid feed. Dissolve one level scoop (one level teaspoonful) of Chempak Tomato Feed in 5 litres (approx. 1 gallon) of water. Stir until dissolved. Small residues caused by hard water should be ignored. For best results thoroughly soak the soil or compost around each plant.

How to use:
Early feeding is recommended for the biggest crops. The rate of feeding should be increased as growth proceeds;
1st truss stage – feed weekly
2nd truss stage – feed twice weekly
3rd truss stage – feed at every watering

Watering:
Never allow tomato plants to dry out or fruit quality will suff er.

Other crops:
Chempak Tomato Feed is a high potash formulation which makes it ideal for other crops such as Peppers, Aubergines, Melons, Courgettes, Marrows, Strawberries and soft fruit.

Use at one level scoop (one level teaspoonful) to 5 litres (approx 1 gallon of water), once a week from first fruit set. Increase to twice a week once picking commences.
