Job Description:       Second Chef required for a busy Garden Centre Coffee Shop.

Location:                    The Garden Café within Norton Garden Centre.

Working Pattern:       Full Time. 41 hrs a week average. Week 1: 4 weekdays, Week 2: 4 week days plus weekend. No Split shifts. No Evenings or Late Nights.

Main Duties/Tasks:

• Take an operational lead in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Preparation and cooking of fresh food and presentation of meals to a high standard on a cook to order basis through our breakfast and lunch service.
• Support and engage with the current team & Head Chef with fresh new ideas.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining all company policies and procedures.
• Stock controls.
• HACCP recording
• Extremely high standard of cleaning.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience in a similar role.
• Good Communicator.
• Good Team Player, driven by the desire to deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
• Flexible with working hours due to the nature of the business
• Health and Safety Conscious.
• Food safety level 2 will be required, however training is provided.
